Pleasant and refined, we find the finesse of the Auxerrois.
Light with a frank and clear attack on notes of white fleshy fruits.
We are one of the few winemakers to offer a 100% Auxerrois cuvée.
Usually, it is blended with Pinot Blanc or in a Crémant d’Alsace. Not very widespread in Alsace, it is earlier than its cousin the Pinot Blanc.
Very floral nose, the attack in mouth is greedy, all in roundness. In the end, we perceive lively and saline notes that counterbalance the greediness of the beginning of the mouth.
The Auxerrois goes well with sushi and other raw or cooked fish dishes. It also goes well with roasted white meats and poultry or with a cheese platter, especially with a Brillat-Savarin
In summer, it goes well with an exotic citrus salad.
